tone + は、写真をリソグラフで刷り直す iPhone / iPad アプリです。色を乗せるフィルタではありません。一枚の写真を版に分け、網点に置き換え、順番に重ねて刷ります。刷る途中で起きることも、まとめて計算します。 tone + reprints your photographs the way a Risograph would. It is not a filter laid over the picture. It separates the photograph into plates, converts each to halftone, and lays them down in order — including everything that goes wrong on the way.
下はすべて同じ写真です。インクの組み合わせ、紙、線数、網点の角度を変えただけで、色調ではなく刷り上がりそのものが変わります。13 種類のプリセットが最初から入っていて、自分の設定も保存できます。 Every picture below is the same photograph. Only the inks, the paper, the ruling and the screen angles differ — what changes is not the tint but the print. Thirteen presets ship with the app, and your own settings can be saved beside them.
網点は見た目の模様ではなく、周期構造です。線数は 12〜110 lpi、点の形は丸・楕円・四角・線・十字、版ごとの角度も個別に指定できます。既定値は当てずっぽうではありません。出力を FFT にかけて網点の周期と角度を実測し、紙の実寸に紐づけてあります。だからプレビューと最大解像度の書き出しで、同じ網点が出ます。 A halftone screen is not a texture — it is a periodic structure. The ruling runs from 12 to 110 lpi, dots can be round, elliptical, square, line or cross, and every plate can carry its own angle. The defaults are not guesses: the screen's period and angle were read straight off a Fourier transform of real output, then tied to a physical sheet size — which is why a preview and a full-resolution export show the identical screen.

アカウントは要りません。通信もしません。機内モードで全機能が動きます。刷り上がりは画像としても、設定そのものを含んだリンクとしても共有できます。リンクを開いた相手のアプリに、同じ設定がそのまま入ります。 No account, no network, no telemetry — every feature works in aeroplane mode. A finished print can be shared as a picture, or as a link that carries the settings themselves: open it, and the same recipe lands in your own copy of the app.
